These lean bison burgers made with 90% lean ground bison are definitely a healthier alternative to your traditional hamburgers. Spiced up with a hint of ground cumin, coriander, and thai hot chili peppers, these burgers pack a punch when it comes to flavor.   • 2 lbs 90% Lean ground bison
  • 1 Red onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Large garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 2" Fresh ginger root (finely chopped/grated)
  • 3 Thai hot chili peppers optional
  • 1 tbsp Ground cuin
  • 1 tbsp Ground coriander
  • Salt to taste


  • Fire up the grill.
  • Combine all ingredients and form 8 patties.
  • Grill to medium rare.
  • Serve with desired toppings such as avocado slices, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.
